Heavy pallets have a heavier construction with reinforced runners and a stiffer deck. They are made for the toughest conditions: high racking, heavy loads and many years of use with forklifts, pallet trucks and automated systems.
For pallet racking, the racking load is the most important value. It applies when the pallet rests only on the two beams. Always choose a model with a racking load above the weight of your load. You can read more about this on the page about pallet load capacity.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much does a heavy plastic pallet carry?
Our heavy pallets carry up to 7,500 kg static, up to 2,200 kg dynamic and up to 2,000 kg in pallet racking. The exact values differ per model. You will find them with each product.
Do heavy plastic pallets need steel reinforcements?
No. Our heavy pallets get their strength from their construction and material. The Ultra pallet, for example, carries up to 1,375 kg in racking without metal reinforcements.
When is a heavy pallet the right choice?
When the pallet stays in a closed loop or pool for years, when you store heavy loads in pallet racking, or when the pallet is moved a lot with forklifts. With intensive use, a heavy pallet is often the most economical choice per trip.
