Medium pallets are the all-rounders in our range. They are sturdier than light pallets, but lighter and more economical than heavy pallets. This makes them ideal for internal transport, distribution, block stacking and light to medium-heavy racking storage.
Versions
Open deck: light, moisture drains away and air circulates around the load.
Closed deck: flat and easy to clean. Good for small packaging.
Anti-slip: the new generation of medium pallets has an integrated anti-slip deck. See anti-slip pallets.
3, 5 or 6 runners: more runners give more support on the floor and on roller conveyors.
Medium pallets carry 5,000 to 7,500 kg static and 1,250 to 1,500 kg dynamic. In pallet racking, this ranges from 200 kg to 1,375 kg, depending on the model. Medium display pallets carry less.
Can I use a medium pallet in racking?
Yes, most medium pallets with runners are suitable for racking storage. Pay close attention to the racking load per model: for some square pallets it is 200 to 300 kg, for medium block pallets up to 1,375 kg.
How does it differ from a heavy pallet?
A heavy pallet has a heavier construction. It is made for higher dynamic loads, intensive use and heavier loads in racking. Read more under heavy pallets.
