This is how many empty Q-Pall pallets fit in a full truck or container. It is the same calculation as in the calculator and on the product pages. Where a range is shown, the number depends on the model.

How many pallets fit in a truck?
That depends on the size and on whether the pallets are loaded or empty.
- Loaded pallets stand in a single layer on the floor. A standard 13.6 m truck takes 33 Euro pallets (1200 x 800 mm) or 26 pallets of 1200 x 1000 mm.
- Empty plastic pallets are stacked or nested. Then many more fit, for example 495 to 598 Euro pallets with runners or 1,485 nestable Euro pallets.

Nestable or stackable
Nestable pallets (light, on 9 feet) slide into each other. That is why almost three times as many fit in a truck as pallets with runners. Pallets with runners or feet are stacked on top of each other, up to the maximum stack height of the model.
Truck, mega trailer or container
A mega trailer is as long as a standard truck (13.6 m), but 3 m high inside instead of 2.65 m. With stacked pallets, up to just over 20% more fit. A sea container is narrower and lower than a truck. For Euro pallets, a 20 ft container takes about a third of a truckload and a 40 ft high cube container about three quarters. Square pallets of 1200 x 1200 mm fit only one wide in a container, so the difference is bigger there.
How the load calculator works
- Transport. Choose a standard truck (13.6 m), a mega trailer, a truck with trailer or a 20, 40 or 45 ft sea container.
- Pallet. Choose the size and the version. You can combine several pallet types in one load.
- Quantity. Choose "As many as possible" or enter a fixed number. For nestable pallets, the calculator can also include the loose runners.
- Result. You see how many pallets fit or how many trucks you need, with a detailed loading plan.
Good to know
- The result is an indication based on standard dimensions.
- The calculator keeps a 0.1 m margin in the length and in the height of the load space. Not in the width: otherwise three Euro pallets would no longer fit side by side.
- Is the load space already partly used? Then enter the percentage you can still use.

How many Euro pallets fit in a truck?
A standard 13.6 m truck takes 33 loaded Euro pallets on the floor. Empty plastic Euro pallets can be stacked: then 495 to 598 pallets with runners fit, or 1,485 nestable pallets. In a mega trailer that is 594 to 627, or 1,815 nestable.
How many empty pallets fit in a container?
A 20 ft container takes 140 to 154 Euro pallets with runners, or 451 nestable Euro pallets. In a 40 ft high cube container that is 320 to 391, or 1,081 nestable. The numbers for other sizes are in the table of standard loads.
How accurate is the load calculator?
The result is an indication based on the standard dimensions of the load space and the pallets. For an exact loading plan or a price including transport, request a quote.
