Act global, produce local

Local production

We produce in six factories spread across Europe. This means we are almost always within 600 kilometres of our customers. That saves transport, costs and CO2.

Why produce locally?

An average truck carries around 500 pallets. Over long distances, that mainly means transporting air. Transport is the largest source of CO2 emissions in the pallet chain. The closer to you we produce, the fewer transport kilometres are needed.

Moulds travel, pallets don't

A mould is the tool in which we injection-mould a pallet. Instead of driving pallets across Europe, we place the mould in the factory closest to you. One mould transport saves many truckloads of pallets. That is what we mean by act global, produce local: one European range, made locally.

Our production sites

  • Balk (the Netherlands), in Friesland.
  • Ribe (Denmark).
  • Marktoberdorf (Germany), in Bavaria.
  • Nantes (France).
  • Lleida (Spain).
  • Chesterfield (United Kingdom), our sixth and newest factory.

Our head office, European operations centre and storage are in Veghel, in North Brabant. Collecting or delivering yourself? Register your transport in advance.

What it means for you

  • Lower transport costs. You pay less for transport, because the distance is short.
  • Less CO2. Fewer kilometres means lower emissions in your scope 3.
  • Fast delivery. We keep the most popular models in stock at each factory.
  • Security of supply. For many moulds, we have a second production site. If a machine breaks down somewhere, your delivery simply continues.
  • Raw material from the region. As far as possible, we source recycled plastic from the area around the factory.

Customisation close to you

Are you starting a larger project with a modified model? Then we can place the mould in the factory closest to you. Read more about customisation. For each product on our site, you can also see at which sites it is produced.
