Description
1200 x 1000 mm is one of the six pallet sizes in the international ISO 6780 standard and many people call it the industrial pallet format. Industry and companies in the United Kingdom use it widely. In addition, it matches the CP1 and CP6 formats of the chemical industry. Industrial pallets often stay in internal circulation for years, so a robust construction pays off over time. What is more, a plastic pallet needs no heat treatment or stamp under the ISPM 15 standard for wood packaging. That makes this 1200x1000 industrial pallet a practical choice for intensive industrial use.
The static load of 5,000 kg applies when the pallet rests on a flat, level floor, for example in block stacking. In contrast, the dynamic load of 1,250 kg applies when a forklift or pallet truck lifts and moves the loaded pallet. Finally, the racking load of 850 kg applies when only the rack beams support the pallet.
All values assume an evenly distributed load. For the racking load, Q-Pall uses a test protocol with 25 kg bags. Point loads or uneven loading reduce the usable capacity, so always check the pallet against your actual load.
The open deck lets moisture drain away and allows air to circulate around the load. Three runners give the pallet a stable base on the floor and on rack beams. Its weight of 22 kg reflects a robust construction for repeated use. Like all Q-Pall pallets, it consists of recycled plastic, does not absorb moisture and has no nails or splinters.

Test conditions. The racking load is determined in a test with 25 kg bags on a conventional pallet racking system. We test our pallets with an evenly distributed, stable and homogeneous load of bagged goods, for a predetermined period at an ambient temperature of 20 °C. Different load conditions may lead to different results and must be assessed separately.
