1100 x 1100 mm is one of the six pallet sizes in the international ISO 6780 standard. It is also the common square format in Asia, including Japan and Korea. Companies that ship to or buy from these markets use it to keep one pallet format throughout the supply chain. In addition, a plastic pallet needs no heat treatment or stamp under the ISPM 15 standard for wood packaging. That makes this 1100x1100 heavy pallet a practical choice for export.

The static load of 7,500 kg applies when the pallet rests on a flat, level floor, for example in block stacking. The dynamic load of 2,000 kg applies when a forklift or pallet truck lifts and moves the loaded pallet. The racking load of 1,250 kg applies when only the rack beams support the pallet.

All values assume an evenly distributed load. For the racking load, Q-Pall uses a test protocol with 25 kg bags. Point loads, uneven loads or a different racking set-up reduce the usable capacity. Therefore, always check the pallet against your actual load.

The open deck lets moisture drain away and allows air to circulate around the load. It also keeps the weight lower than a closed deck. Six runners support the pallet over a larger area than three runners. As a result, this version carries 1,250 kg in racking, compared with 1,000 kg for the heavy pallet with three runners. The pallet is made from a mix of HDPE and PP.

Do you need a closed top surface for small items or easier cleaning? Then choose the closed-deck version, which offers the same load capacities and weighs 24.1 kg. The heavy pallet with three runners weighs 19.9 kg and carries 1,000 kg in racking. For lighter loads, the medium versions carry 1,250 kg dynamic and 250 kg in racking at a height of 150 mm.
