The square 1140 x 1140 mm format matches the CP3 and CP9 formats of the chemical industry. As a result, it is a common choice wherever goods move on CP-sized pallets in the process industry. The static load of 7,500 kg applies when the pallet rests on a flat, level floor, for example in block stacking. In contrast, the dynamic load of 2,200 kg applies when a forklift or pallet truck lifts and moves the loaded pallet.
