The industrial standard size

1200 x 1000 mm is one of the six pallet sizes in ISO 6780 and is often called the industrial pallet. The size is popular in industry, the chemical sector and the United Kingdom. It matches the CP1 and CP6 sizes of the chemical industry. A standard 13.6 metre trailer holds 26 pallets of 1200 x 1000 mm side by side.

The widest range in one size

• Light: nestable pallets with 9 feet and pallets with 3 runners for export and single use. They carry 2,500 kg static and 1,000 kg dynamic.
• Medium: pallets with 3 or 5 runners for internal transport and racking storage up to 1,375 kg. New: the anti-slip versions with closed deck.
• Heavy and block pallets: pallets for heavy use, with 3, 5 or 6 runners and up to 2,000 kg dynamic load. See block pallets.

Where do you use a 1200 x 1000 plastic pallet?

Industrial pallets often stay in an internal loop for years. A plastic pallet then pays for itself: it does not absorb moisture, does not warp and has no nails that damage your goods or machines. This also makes them suitable for automated warehouses, roller conveyors and robots. In the chemical industry and the beverage industry, this size is the norm.
